Internal decorations to the 2012 Olympic Athletes Village, a substantial undertaking. To offer a degree of perspective over forty thousand litres of Dulux Light & Space, Diamond Matt, Satinwood, Floor & Masonry paint applied. A quarter of a million square meters of substrate decorated, equivalent to twenty Olympic sized running tracks including the field in the middle!

Internal decorations to Phase 1 of the new PFI Hospital, delivered three months ahead of programme, and to the highest of standards. ICI Sterishield Q.D. Eggshell to Wards, General Consulting & Circulation areas, and Wallglaze hygienic coatings to Operating Theatres & MRI Suites.

Emily Bowes Court Contract Value £400,000
Opened in 2009, Emily Bowes Court is Unite's most modern student accommodation. Internal decoration was carried out to the highest standard, yet to a highly demanding program, to a range of en-suite rooms in 3,4,5,6 and 7 bedroom apartments, as well as studios and ancillary areas.

Laing O'Rourke And Baggaley Construct
E Block Rampton Hospital Contract Value: £215,000
Johns Of Nottingham worked closely with Baggaley Construction and Laing O'Rourke providing both internal and external decoration to 'E & D' Blocks within the high security site. As a specialist contractor working within the framework of CDM and H&S regulations we were instrumental in notifying advising and providing the fire upgrade solution to bring the existing wall areas into line with current regulations. In addition we revitalised the 229Nr external sash windows throughout. Using our bespoke quality plan system this complex project was completed on time to the clients specification, the high quality finish delivered in these understandably time-tested buildings was commended by all.

Suffolk One College Contract Value: £300,000
Opening in September 2010 Suffolk One is East Anglia's flagship learning centre. Inspired colour choices to a range of feature walls created a contemporary feel to the project. High volume areas are finished in Dulux's Diamond Matt product providing excellent durability.

Opened In 2010 Derwent Point is a brand new accommodation centre for students. Internal decorations were carried out over eight floors using Dulux's vinyl matt, undercoat and gloss to achieve a durable finish to an excellent standard.

Vision Express
Vision Express Various Stores
Careful planning and tight programming were vital when Vision Express recently tasked Johns with carrying out the redecoration as part of a major upgrade to 50 of its state-of-the-art optical labs. The rolling programme meant that work was in progress on up to 3 locations at any one time. Vision Express expected Johns to ensure business as usual during the refits, without inconvenience to staff or customers. The finishing touch to each project was the protection and re-spraying of a new corporate bronze colour to the building's façade.

The UK’s leading non fault accident specialist Drive Assist had out grown their existing call centre and required urgent accommodation to house additional staff.
Using a mix of mezzanine levels, suspended ceilings, glazed screens, soft lighting and subtle decorations, Johns designed and delivered an ideal temperature controlled solution
