Crawford & Company - Subsidence Damage

Project Details

A significantly large tree in the garden of this beautiful grade II listed building was unfortunately causing subsidence to the property as the tree roots were impacting the foundations. Severe cracking on the externals and internals of the property needed to be attended to as soon as possible. The tree was removed by a specialist to allow us to undertake the reinstatement works. Due to the building classed as grade II listed, we appointed one of our preferred sub-contractors who are experts in Heritage works to tackle the building element of this claim. Our first priority was to secure the structure of the building and where required we used lime mortar and lime plaster to keep the building is close to its original condition. Johns of Nottingham worked closely with the client to ensure the paint colour choices were of high quality to showcase this outstanding stately building. All parties were thrilled with the results and the customer had this to say…

Johns of Nottingham carried out a first class project from start to finish on our property at Westgate House. Superbly managed by Matt, Jonathan and their team who were all extremely friendly and helpful.
