Criterion Loss Adjusters - Escape of Water
Project Details
Following a large escape of water at the customers property from a faulty cold water pipe in the upstairs bathroom ceiling. It was determined by Johns of Nottingham and the appointed drying company that damage had been caused to all rooms on the first floor and various rooms on the ground floor. After a multi week drying programme had concluded, it was now time for Johns of Nottingham to reinstate the property.
The water damage affected most rooms at low level meaning that all woodwork including: skirting boards, architraves, doors and frames all needed to be removed and replaced. The bathroom ceiling collapsed on all sanitary ware items and damaged the suite in different areas. It was established at the surveyors visit that we would need to replace the bathroom suite. However, we could possibly repair the existing wall and floor tiles which meant it would not be required for ourselves to hack off all the existing tiles and replace with new. We did manage to repair the tiles in situ to the customers delight.
A full redecoration to the property followed once the building works were completed and the customer had this to say once we finished all of the works...
